The second game of the FIDE Chess World Cup final was drawn. The match was played between Mags Carlsen of Norway and Praggnanandhaa of India. Meanwhile, Praggnanandhaa and Magnus will face each other again in the tiebreaker on Thursday. The duo agreed to a draw after an hour-long battle in Wednesday’s match.
Tuesday’s match ended in a draw after 35 moves. Praggnanandhaa defeated World No. 2 Hikaru Nakamura in the fourth round of the Chess World Cup to enter the final. Praggnanandhaa became the first Indian after Viswanathan Anand to reach the final of the Chess World Cup.
