A major setback for Spain: Three big names play in the semi-final against France.

Spain suffered a major setback ahead of their match against France in the Ro Cup semi-finals. Three of the top players will not be able to play in the semifinals. The semi-final match against France will be played on July 10.

Pedri, defenders Dani Carvajal and Robin Le Nomand have been unable to play. Pedri suffered an injury to his left knee in the match against Germany. Pedri, who was injured in a collision with Toni Kroos, had to leave the field in the eighth minute itself. Pedri is expected to miss the remaining matches of the Euro. 

Danny Carvajal and Robin Le Nomand were given yellow cards in the previous match. With this, both of them had to sit out of the semifinals. Carvajal was forced out of the match after receiving a second yellow card for knocking down Musiala. After seeing a red card, he couldn’t play in the next game. Robin Le Nomand was given a yellow card in the 29th minute for a foul on Gundogan. With this, he also missed the next match. Nacho and Jesus Navasa replace Carvajal and Nomand

Spain defeated Germany 2-1 to enter the semifinals. Goals were scored by Dani Olmo and Michael Merino. Florian Wirz scored the goal for Germany. France defeated Portugal 5-3 in a penalty shootout to reach the semifinals.
